Warning over bogus law firms

The Law Society of Scotland has warned solicitors and the public to be cautious, after finding fraudsters were using the details and photographs of genuine lawyers on fake law firm websites. Bogus firms use tactics such as sending out fake inheritance letters that require that require duty to be paid or fake accident compensation claims that require advance fees.
