Irish High Court Judge Bronagh O'Hanlon has, for the first time ever, approved an order to allow a liquidator to serve a person connected with a liquidated firm with papers through the social media site LinkedIn.

David Prior, the chair of the CQC, has warned that poor care is killing up to 10,000 patients a year. In an article for the Guardian, Mr Prior claimed: "Any assessment of the NHS can only have one possible conclusion: standards of care are highly variable, sometimes dangerously so.

PwC heads the list of The Times Top 100 Graduate Employers for the 11th year running with second place going to Teach First.

Claimant's insurance cover did not preclude costs award

In Mardner v Gardner and ors the EAT has held that an employment judge erred in refusing to make a costs award in the claimant’s favour on the basis that his claim had been funded by legal expenses insurance.
