Overtime capped following holiday pay ruling

A poll of 285 small firms by business software provider Sage has found one in 10 SMEs that pay overtime is capping extra work after a tribunal earlier this month ruled that overtime and commission should be taken into account when calculating holiday pay. "The potential impact on payroll teams and future cashflow is huge, so our advice is to start getting your house in order now," said Sage’s Lee Perkins.
