Senior judges in England and Wales have written to the MoJ to voice "deep concerns" at large increases in court fees for all claims above £10,000, which they say will deter individuals and small businesses.

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has launched a consultation on proposals to limit the circumstances in which parties may be granted postponement of a hearing in the employment tribunal. The Government is proposing the measures in response to concerns about the length of tribunal proceedings. The consultation closes on 12 March 2015.
