Funeral costs and lawyers' fees increase

New research shows that the costs of a funeral have gone up by 3.9% in the past year, and estate administration costs, mainly lawyers' fees, have risen by 39%. Of 2,000 people who had arranged a funeral in the past five years, almost half said that it had cost them more than expected and 42% of those admitted they had problems meeting the cost.
