Divorcing couples look online

Divorce Online, one of the UK’s largest online divorce firms, says the number of divorces filed online with the company has increased by 30% year on year compared to 2013. The actual divorce rate climbed just 0.50% during the same period, from 117,550 applications in 2010-11 to 118,140 in 2012-2013. Mark Keenan, managing director of Divorce Online, said: “I think we are seeing an increase in online divorces as more applicants look for an inexpensive way of dealing with the courts.”
