An analysis by the Centre for Economics and Business Research is warning that dementia will cost English businesses £3bn by 2030, as tens of thousands of people drop out of work to care for their elderly relatives. The number of people leaving jobs to care for people with the illness will rise from 50,000 in 2014 to 83,100 in 2030, the research predicted.
