A letter signed by business groups including the Institute of Credit Management, the ICAEW, the ACCA, the ICAS and R3 calls on the government to scrap the planned change to legal reforms to insolvency that will see insolvency litigation no longer exempted from the crackdown on ‘no-win, no-fee’ legal funding. The letter says the planned changes “are anti-business, will increase tax avoidance and evasion, and will benefit directors of insolvent companies who have committed fraud or behaved recklessly.”
