Baroness Deech, QC, writes to the Times to clarify her stance on divorce. She proposes a 50/50 split of post marital assets on divorce, and recommends that pre-nups should be binding. This would give an entitlement to each divorcee, she argues, rather than leaving them to argue before judges with “all the uncertainty and expense that subjectivity entails.”
